CANCELLATION POLICY
To ensure every detail is thoughtfully arranged, we encourage you to review our cancellation policy and any additional fees for your dining experience.
At The Vinaya, we strive to provide a thoughtful and extraordinary dining experience. To ensure freshness, quality, and personalized preparation, we kindly ask guests to review the following policies:
Cancellation Policy
- Regular breakfast: cancellations made at least one day in advance will be fully refunded.
- Indonesian delights dining: cancellations made with a minimum of two days’ notice will be fully refunded.
- Group dining: cancellations made at least three days prior will be fully refunded.
Important Notes
- Refunds will exclude bank transfer fees, card processing fees, and international currency exchange charges, which remain the responsibility of the guest.
- Last-minute cancellations (within the required notice period above) will be fully charged.
- No-shows will also be fully charged.
Additional Requests
- Special requests (e.g., customized menus, decorations, or dietary accommodations) will be assisted based on availability and billed separately.
- Requests for premium ingredients or bespoke arrangements may require additional lead time and surcharges.
Outside Food & Beverage Policy during Group Dining and Indonesian Delights Arrangements
- Corkage Fee
Guests are welcome to bring their own wine or beverages. A corkage fee of Rp200,000 per bottle will be added to the bill for items consumed during the dining experience. This fee covers service, glassware, and the hospitality provided.
- Cake-Cutting Fee (Cakeage)
For guests bringing their own cake or dessert, a cake-cutting fee applies Rp50,000 per person for serving one cake/dessert.
If more than one cake or dessert is brought for the event, the fee is Rp30,000 per cake/dessert. This fee covers slicing, plating, and serving.
- Outside Food Fee
For Group Dining and Indonesian Delights events, a general charge of Rp50,000 per food item applies if outside food is brought in. This fee is specific to group dining arrangements and does not apply to other individual dining experiences.
Other Conditions
- Late arrivals: Dining experiences may be shortened if guests arrive late, without adjustment to the fee.
- Damage or loss: Any damage to property or loss of items during the dining experience will be billed accordingly.
- Service charges: A standard 5% service charge applies to all bills.
- Taxes: All prices are subject to 11% prevailing government taxes.
